Who is Andrew Sartorio?

“I am calm and relaxed, happy person who enjoys making the most out of things in life and taking my time to truly appreciate them and the world around me. I am great team player and enjoying being part of a big team, helping others and making sure everyone is happy.”

What is your Role at Solmedia?

“I am a Lab Chemist at Solmedia. My job involves the handling and production of chemicals and solutions of specific compositions to a high degree of accuracy, through titrations and other testing parameters. I am responsible for manufacturing the solutions and reagents that are used in various fields by our customers and keeping the Solmedia team up to date on risk assessments, regulations and the handling and storing of hazardous chemicals. I work closely with the warehouse and purchasing team to ensure a prompt turnaround from the order being placed, through to arrival with the customer.”

What do you enjoy most about working at Solmedia?

“I enjoy problem-solving and providing solutions to support the wider team. I also enjoy the assembly of products and using my expertise to manufacture products for customers.”

What do you do outside of work?

“Outside of work I mainly enjoy spending time with friends, doing small chores around the house and tinkering with electronics. I enjoy going to gym regularly and trying to improve my overall fitness. My main pride and joy is my band, which I routinely practice with and play gigs with, with myself being the lead guitarist.”

A fun fact about Andrew? 

“I am half Filipino and half Italian.”
