As the 4th generation of his family to enter the company, Fabio has been around the business his entire life, working in all areas of the organisation whilst studying, gifting him valuable industry knowledge, business acumen and a hard work ethic that will benefit our customers for years to come.

With a bubbly charisma and his charming Irish accent, Calvin provides a pleasant and seamless experience for our customers.
Calvin thrives on building trusting relationships with his customers, combined with understanding their needs and his experience in accounts and finance; he endeavours to always provide the best solution possible.

Travelling over the borders from sunny Dublin, Rhianna joins our UK team as our Internal Sales Executive. Rhianna’s previous role in Sales has provided her with valuable experience in problem solving and customer support. Her intuitive mindset and willingness to help customers, powers her abilities to present the right solutions to fit her customer’s needs, every time.
Customer Service Manager
By nature, Zowie is a problem solver and as Customer Service Manager, she supports our customers throughout their journey with Solmedia. She has a strong background in Customer Service and is never happier than when dealing with any queries or concerns where they arise. Zowie adds, ‘You can enjoy full peace of mind knowing that your requests are being fully managed.’
Yvonne joined the team with nearly 20 years’ experience in customer service and administration. A pivotal part of the customer services team, Yvonne is also involved in the purchasing of lab equipment and consumables and advising on service, delivery dates and alternative products. She thoroughly enjoys her diverse role and is excited to be part of the team.
Jack has always had a love for science, having studied at Biology at Worcester University. Jack joined the Solmedia technical team as a Laboratory Chemist and uses his knowledge and professional expertise to formulate chemicals within our in-house lab, fulfilling customer orders to their exact specifications. He confidently provides technical support and helps to improve processes that will lead Solmedia into the future of modern chemistry, meeting the high demands of next generation science.
A calm and steady voice of reason, Darren has spent all his life being involved in the service, installation, maintenance and repair of various different pieces of equipment. At Solmedia he manages the practical, technical and servicing needs of all our clients and has become the linchpin in the maintenance team.
Neil has been with Solmedia for over 10 years and has a wealth of experience in Warehouse Management. A specialist in internal systems, he oversees all stock movement and oils the cogs of the receipt and despatch engines. Never happy until all orders are processed 100% accurately, he oversees a team of trusty warehouse operatives.
Deputy Warehouse Manager
Adam has a wealth of experience in production and warehousing. Working alongside our Warehouse Manager, Adam supports the management of a seamless operation system within our warehouse enabling us to get our deliveries to customers quickly and accurately. He specialises in inventory control and process management, as well as fully trained in both Health and Safety and First Aid as a first responder. Adam is an asset to our team, whom inspires those around him with his positivity and willingness to go the extra mile.
Nick has been a Company Sales Director for over 20 years and has extensive experience in managing production, operation and sales. He is passionate about excellent customer experience and likes to empower the Solmedia team in order to go the extra mile to ‘wow’ customers and build long-lasting relationships. Many of Solmedia’s customers have been loyal for many years and he continues to work hard to establish the optimum levels of service for all of them.
As the Company Operations Director, James has more than 20 years’ experience in managing production, operations, purchasing and finance. He has built his experience from the ground up, starting in despatch, then moving to van driving and accounts before progressing to purchasing, customer services and finance. This wealth of experience has given him first-hand knowledge of all our customers and he relishes overcoming challenges and obstacles – pulling out all the stops when an emergency arises.
Gordon has a wealth of experience working in laboratory supplies and is currently celebrating his sixtieth year working with Solmedia. Since 2015, he has stepped back from the day to day management of the company but continues to give welcome guidance as a consultant to the team as a whole. He acts as the Company sage and mentor and is never without a smile.
