We’re excited to announce that we will be exhibiting at this year’s IBMS (Institute of Biomedical Science) Congress event in Birmingham from Monday 22nd to Thursday 25th September 2025.
A staple in the Solmedia calendar, the event provides us with a fantastic opportunity to share our knowledge and showcase our new range of products, featuring the latest advancements in diagnostic pathology.
With even more equipment to showcase, this year we will be spanning two stands (800 and 808). Whether you are interested in live equipment demonstrations or seeking a new consumables solution, our knowledgeable team will be on hand to assist.
HISTOLOGY EQUIPMENT
Our exclusive partnership with SLEE will bring you an extensive range of their German-engineered histology equipment, allowing you to experience their premium performance firsthand. Adding to their array of microtomes and new for this year, their semi-automatic microtome CUT 5062 + will be on display. With its additional coarse feed wheel, it combines the accuracy of motorised systems with the high working speed of manual microtomy. We will also be bringing you SLEE’s marketing-leading linear stainer, the Cromatec. Producing the highest throughput in routine staining, the Cromatec has been engineered to maximise productivity in histology and cytology.
GROSSING STATIONS
A standout at this year’s event will be the ET-107-ELV Height Adjustable Grossing Station, from our exclusive partnership with Anathomic Solutions. With its vast array of features and a high technical spec, the event will be a great opportunity to experience this piece of equipment in person (stand 808).
MACRO IMAGING
Our high-resolution SPOT Imaging® G8 camera will be displaying a live-view feed, showcasing its outstanding image detail. Fitted with an 8.3MP sensor and high-quality lens system, this camera offers additional functionalities beyond routine analysis and annotation. Optimised for large-format displays, the G8 facilities telepathology and teaching with ease, making it a future-proof option for forward thinking laboratories.
