On Friday 16th September 2022, the Solmedia team will be having a splashing afternoon at the Coracle World Championships. Our team of 4 will be paddling a traditional coracle boat in a relay race across the River Severn, competing for the title of “Coracle World Champions” as well as helping raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
As well as being great fun, the aim of the event is to raise money for the vital services provided by Macmillan Cancer Support. In total, this event has raised over £320,000, and with your help, we are going to beat 2019’s fantastic total of £41,000!
The event is supported by The Rapid Relief Team who will be providing free food and drink, in which all the money raised through this event will go towards Macmillan Cancer Support in Shropshire and helping people living with and beyond cancer.
