In the month of September, we have taken part in two fundraising events to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Coracle Race
On Friday 16th September 4 members of our team competed in the Coracle World Championship, a relay race across the River Severn in Shrewsbury, paddling a traditional coracle boat to compete for the title of “Coracle World Champions” as well as helping raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
We may have not left the competition champions, and instead left cold and wet, however, our heads were held high with knowing that we contributed to the raising of £14,900 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning
On Friday 30th we will be joining the nation in the Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning by hosting a Coffee Morning for the team at Solmedia, bringing all departments together over a nice cuppa and a generous slice of homemade cakes.
Last year we proudly raised collectively a total of £104.60 for Macmillan Cancer Support and this year we hope to exceed this amount.
