FEATURES
The MPS/P2 Embedding Centre is a 3-part embedding centre, collectively made up of a dispensing module, pre-warming unit and cold plate. All 3 units are detachable and can be arranged in any order according to the laboratory requirements to accommodate right-handed and left-handed users for best comfort.
The paraffin dispensing unit includes a 5.5 litres paraffin reservoir and an elevated heated working area that is illuminated with adjustable LED light. The pre-heating unit provides capacity for 150 cassettes and 500 embedding moulds whilst the cold plate offers space for 50 to 80 cassettes with a cooling temperature of -15 °C.
SLEE Embedding Centres come with an integrated wax trimmer that efficiently removes excess paraffin from any tissue cassette. It then easily melts and drains in the removable tray below. The large scale design enables simultaneous paraffin trimming of multiple blocks and avoids any physical damage to the user.
ERGONOMIC
Space-saving and spacious. The MPS provides a large heated paraffin collection tray and a generous cooling spot as well as adjustable features such as force holders, magnifying glass and manual lever or footswitch for dispensing all to provide you with the best comfort whilst working.
EFFICIENCY
All functions of the unit are controlled by an intuitive control panel including working hours and working days programmable, allowing an uninterrupted routine workflow.
ADVANCEMENT
MPS/P2 is equipped with an advanced microprocessor that automatically regulates the temperatures of each area and container.
