Revolutionise your pathology practice with our Macro Digital Imaging Systems, designed to elevate diagnostic precision, streamline workflow and facilitate collaboration. Our G8 and G20 imaging solutions offer the highest macro-level detail, ensuring every tissue sample is captured in its full anatomical complexity.

A Camera Designed for Pathology Labs
Designed by scientific imaging specialists, SPOT Imaging®, our high-resolution cameras capture minute tissue structures and cellular details, key for accurate diagnostics. Complemented by the PathSuite interface, specimen images are easy to annotate, measure and share in real-time. With the flexibility to be mounted in-hood or on the wall, or configured as a free-standing unit, both the fully enclosed camera and monitor take up minimal workspace.
Both variants, the G8 and the G20, are designed to provide high quality imaging for macro applications. Optimal for telepathology, the G8 produces 4K UHD live-view and captures images at 8Mp. While the G20 streams live at a resolution of 720p HD but offers far more detail in its high-quality images taken at 20Mp, making it ideal for publishing and documentation.

Made to Fit Your Lab
Both the G8 and G20 cameras can be configured as part of the PathStand®, PathStation® or PathMobile® imaging systems. Optimal for publishing and documentation, the PathStand® is a central, stand-alone system. The wall or in-hood mounted PathStation® offers a compact alternative and can be integrated within your current lab setup. While PathMobile® is a portable alternative that features 6-axis adjustable camera positioning and full body imaging, making it ideal for gross dissection and autopsy applications.

Make The Right Choice
The G8 and the G20—both designed for high-quality imaging in pathology applications. While both systems share similarities, there are key differences that may influence your choice based on specific imaging needs.
Key Differences:
- Live Imaging: The G8 provides Ultra HD live imaging with a higher frame rate, while the G20 is limited to 720p HD live imaging.
- Image Capture: The G20 captures images at a higher resolution, making it more suitable for detailed imaging, whereas the G8 prioritises real-time imaging performance.
- Real-Time Imaging Needs: If live viewing and real-time imaging are a priority, the G8 is the better choice due to its higher frame rate and Ultra HD quality.
- Detailed Image Capture: If capturing high-resolution images is more important, the G20 is the preferred option as it offers better image detail.
