AnatHomic Solutions Factory Tour In Barcelona

At Solmedia, we recently launched our new range of Anatomical Pathology Equipment from leading manufacturers AnatHomic Solutions. Experts in this industry, AantHomic Solutions designs and manufactures high-quality, ergonomic Grossing Stations, Ventilated Cabinets, Sample Reception Tables, Aspirated Work Cabins and Formaldehyde Dispensers along with an entire range of equipment dedicated to Autopsy and Mortuary departments. Anathomics equipment offers the highest standards of economics and safety all designed meticulously with the user in mind.

This month, Solmedia’s Director James Wallach and Regional Accounts Manager Calvin Joynt, travelled to Barcelona to visit AnatHomic Solutions’ manufacturing facilities. They were accompanied by members of the Histology department at St George’s Hospital, who have recently invested in the ET 101-1 Grossing Station from AnatHomic Solutions.

The trip included a tour of the facilities in which AnatHomic Solutions manufactures their equipment, seeing first-hand the processes and stages each piece of equipment undergoes, the high level of detail and accuracy that is required to build each piece of equipment and the quality checks each piece of equipment must endure before it is sent to customers.

Here the Solmedia staff and members of St George’s Hospital received demonstrations of the Anatomical Pathology equipment, allowing the Histology Laboratory Managers and the Operations Manager to experience the quality of the Grossing Stations for themselves before they are installed in their laboratory.

The tour of the manufacturing facilities was followed by an organised visit to the Hospital de Sant Pau, arranged my Anathomic Solutions, where both Solmedia and St Georges’ were able to witness and see the Mortuary and Anathomical Pathology equipment in application within a real hospital.

Having strong relationships with our manufacturing suppliers is pivotal to our organisation. At Solmedia we endorse regularly visiting our manufacturers at their facilities, meeting the members of the team face-to-face and seeing and understanding the level of detail that goes into manufacturing every piece of equipment we supply. Building solid relationships with our suppliers and manufacturing partners allows us to offer opportunities to our customers to visit these sites with our team, knowing that it will be beneficial to them and their buying decision-making. Enabling, our customer to see relative equipment in settings such as hospitals allows them to envision their desired piece of equipment in their own facilities and potentially trial the equipment in the right application and setting.
