Our PathSuite G-Series optimises pathology workflows. The G-Series makes it easy to capture, annotate, measure, and save high quality images of gross specimens in the frozen section room, and to share the images with specialists in other locations. Its fully enclosed camera and touch screen monitor take up minimal workspace, and can be mounted in a grossing hood, configured as a freestanding unit with lighting, or mounted on a wall in the laboratory per your needs.

Image acquisition, viewing, editing and archiving are streamlined while an integrated interface enables LIMS transfer (optional feature) and telepathology (optional feature).

You can choose your format between jpg, jpg2000, png or tif. About 5-8MB per image.
Camera can be operated using foot pedal and/or mouse.
G8 – Equipped with a 20x optical zoom lens and a 4x digital zoom.
G20 – Up to 8.33X optical zoom and offers up to 4x digital zoom.
Optical zoom physically changes the lens to magnify the subject, while digital zoom enlarges a portion of the already captured image.
Minimum requirements camera, PC, software and foot pedal.

There are no specific lighting requirements, ambient light is usually enough. The camera features auto brightness settings but can also be adjusted manually. Our PathStand variant comes with additional LED lighting.
The 20MP camera takes around 5 seconds due to amount of data processing associated with 20MP cameras. The 8MP camera captures images instantly.
Integration available via TWAIN interface in PS3 Pro or HL7 available with PS3 Enterprise software.

Pathologists located anywhere in the world can then remotely view, navigate, and diagnose via a secure online platform. The system enables real-time consultations, second opinions, and even education/training by allowing multiple users to access and interact at the same time.
- Place a ruler or similar measuring tool in the field of view of the PathSuite system.
- Click on the Capture tab and find the Calibrate button.
- If you don’t see the Calibrate button, toggle the More Options list.
- The system will automatically zoom out.
- Use the mouse to place a line by clicking the start and end points of the ruler on screen.
- After drawing the line, enter the actual length of the line in the dialogue box that appears.
- Repeat this process at each zoom level of the system camera.
Note: This process can take several minutes as most cameras have many zoom levels to set.
