Commission Regulation (EU) No 895/2014 of 14 August 2014 amending Annex XIV to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), formaldehyde meets the criteria for classification as carcinogenic (category 1B).
The new classification lead to consider the carcinogenic risk for Health and Safety management, also referring to the exposition to formaldehyde and lead to the application of Leg. Dec. 9th April 2008 N. 81 (protection from carcinogens and mutagens) also for processing with formaldehyde.
