Vaportest badges are lightweight devices that collect gas and airborne contaminants in the workplace. Our badges are made from a plastic housing that contains a permeable, absorbent membrane that can be lab tested. A variety of substances can be sampled on a single badge at the same time, helping you assess the exposure level of the gases and vapours in your workplace.
All Vaportest badges are simple and effective devices that collect contaminants through the scientific principle of diffusion. They meet or exceed OSHA accuracy requirements of ±25% at 95% confidence level for many work contaminants.
Exposure time: Anything from 15 minutes to 24 hours*
*Accurate exposure time must be recorded on the Analysis Request Form in order to be valid for analysis.
Please note: Caution must be applied when measuring formaldehyde from solutions containing methanol using passive samplers because of possible underestimation of airborne concentrations. Please contact us for further information
