The Slee MEV, MEV+ and MNT Cryostats have been upgraded so that they are now equipped with an LED-display Optical Status and Error Indication (OSEI) System as standard.
Slee pride themselves not only on the quality and the performance of their equipment but also the safety of their equipment for users. LED lights of different colours have been installed into the operating chamber as a new standard feature to enable quick and easy detection of the current status of the cryostat. Possible application or system errors are now promptly indicated by a coloured light, that illuminates the entire cryostat chamber to prompt a response from the user and thus increasing operating safety.
Red
Continuous:
During defrosting process
Flashing:
- Chamber cooling is activated and the window is open, the red LED will begin to flash after 3 minutes of inactivity.
- The red light will also flash for any error messages:
- The window is open after inactivity.
- The end position of the feed is reached.
- UV-C disinfection (only applicable for devices equipped with this feature).
White
Continuous:
- Lights up for 3 minutes in normal operation, then changes to blue, red, or off.
- Turning the handwheel or pressing a button on the control panel resets the timer. The 3-min restart.
Blue
Continuous:
- When the chamber cooling is activated and the window is closed, the blue LED lights up after 3 minutes of inactivity.
